Many Salon Apprentices are professional cosmetologists that finished Beauty School and are licensed to practice in their state.  Some salons have an advanced training curriculum that is required before an Apprentice is a full-time stylist taking clients at normal salon prices.

During this training period, or apprenticeship, salons offer discounted rates that are sometimes free of charge for hair model volunteers.  This creates a win-win scenario for the apprentice, model, and salon owner to maintain the highest quality standards while encouraging a learning environment to prepare Apprentices for a long and fruitful career in the beauty industry.  Volunteers are needed every week and you can subscribe to email alerts to be notified about services available.

Some stylists may offer services to build up their portfolios and/or try to build a new clientele with reduced prices once they have completed their training.

How it Works:
– Posts expire after 7 days and require the apprentice to ‘renew’ the listing
– Volunteers can register their ‘profile’ and manage their status
– Activity (like logging in) is rewarded and your Post/Profile is promoted to the top of the list automatically
– Only one Post/Profile per email
– You can subscribe to receive email notifications
– Use images and please be as descriptive as possible for best results
– Use ‘Advanced Search’ to quickly filter down results you are looking for
