Model submissions are now being accepted for fall aesthetic models at the Starshine Spa for select model appointment dates/times in August & September 2025. It's not too late for your 2025 glow up! Please read the full post and submit following the directions below. Models who are accepted to the program may select between one, or multiple of the services listed below. Models may receive additional surprise perks during their treatment such as freshly sliced cucumbers on their eyes, complimentary beverages, or snacks to further enhance the quality of service! Model Services are offered for only a supplies fee. Supplies fees range from $50 - $75 per service. Full details will be provided upon acceptance to the program. Typically our services for skincare start at $150 for non-model appointments. Gratuity for model appointments is not required, but strongly suggested. Models must be over the age of 18 to participate. NEW! Rezenerate (Nano Needling) The Rezenerate NanoFacial is an award-winning facial service that goes beyond what traditional treatments can provide. This popular advanced treatment provides exceptional results. It won the '"Best Of The Best" 2024 Dermascope Award. It is a traditional facial, with a special step after exfoliation when the Nano Needling happens. The wand comes with a disposable tip that contains silicone pyramids inside. When applied to the skin, the silicone pyramids make micro permeations throughout the top layer of skin preparing it to absorb the serum we selected. After, a mask is applied with ice globes. This treatment is suitable for improvement of a variety of skin concerns and all skin tones. This service is valued at $179, but is available for Salon Apprentice models for only a $75 supplies fee. STARSHINE SIGNATuRE CUSTOMIZED FACIAL WITH "NO PEEL'' BRIGHTENING PEEL Fade dark spots and even out your skin tone with advanced treatments that effectively address hyperpigmentation and sun damage will a client favorite- the Starshine Signature Customized Facial. Your Esthetician will custom select an advanced exfoliation treatment to brighten even the most stubborn of hyperpigmentation with modalities including our professional backbar of enzyme treatments, the SkinScript RX 20% Lactic Peel with Arbutin, and/or microdermabrasion to leave your skin glowing like a star! This treatment is available on our menu for $185, but is available for a $75 supplies fee for Salon Apprentice Models. ROYAL DERMAL PEPTIDE 02 INFUSION TREATMENT During this luxurious hydrafacial treatment skin is deeply cleansed & exfoliated with a hydrogen-oxygen cleaning device that effectively removes skin impurities while delivering essential nutrients a dermal serum infusion of Matrixyl 3000 Peptide, argirline, & Vitamin C to mimic the effects of botox, increase collagen production, and smooth texturized skin. Followed by a Golden Honey Nourishing mask with RoyalEpigen P5 to activate skin regeneration & radiance, & LightStim Red LED therapy powered with NASA technology to improve your skin's texture. Skin is treated with a rejuvenating oxygen mist, followed by an application of peptide eye cream, hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, & a professional lip treatment. BODYCARE $75 Supplies Fee CBD CHOCOLATE MINT BACK FACIAL Soothe sore muscles while maintaining the skin health of your back with the signature CBD Chocolate Mint Back Facial available only at the Starshine Spa. This treatment begins with a deep cleanse, followed by the Cocoa Enzyme Exfoliation by Circadia to slough away dead skin cells and unclog pores, and extractions. Relax into therapeutic back, neck, and shoulder massage with soothing CBD massage cream, a Wheatgrass Recovery Masque with CBD for your back, foot/calf massage, and moisturizer. This treatment is available on our service menu for $169, but it available for Salon Apprentice models for only a $75 supplies fee. BROWS & LASHES (NATURAL, VEGAN FRIENDLY) $49 Supplies Fee Per Service *Add a vegan brow tint and/or lash tint for a $15 supplies fee (when applicable). BOMBSHELL LASH LIFT The Bombshell Lash Lift service at the Starshine Spa is a full service Lash Lift with Supercillium Vegan Lash Glaze imported from the EU. Enhance your natural beauty with a lash lift, experience fuller and longer looking lashes - without mascara application! After your lashes are lifted, your technician will tint the your lashes to add extra definition. Lash Lift results last approximately 6-8 weeks, and Lash Tint results last approximately 4-5 weeks with proper post-care. This service is going to be released on our spa menu in August 2025 for $125, but is available to Salon Apprentice models for only a $49 supplies fee. FOXY BROW GLAZE (LAMINATION) The Foxy Brow Glaze service at the Starshine Spa (also known as "brow lamination") is the season's most popular aesthetic service! Enhance your facial features with fuller, more fluffy browns. This full service treatment includes a brow wax and shaping with premium professional wax. This service is available our treatment menu for $75, but is available to salon apprentice models for only a $49 supplies fee. AIRBRUSH HYBRID BROWS You couldn't have missed it: Airbrush brows are the biggest trend in the brow industry. Get on the clouds with the Supercilium ON AIR hybrid brows service! If you don't know - now you know! With the airbrush, it's easy to create thin layers and work with a gradient and ombre effect. Brow mapping is included with this service, and results last up to 11 days on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the brow hairs. Be a trendsetter with this popular new treatment - provided by our fully licensed Master Esthetician with 20 years of cosmetology experience and a background in makeup artistry, and specialized certification in Brow Airbrush Techniques With Supercillium. Tints are formulated with soy protein, saffron, and rose extract. This service is going to be added to our spa menu in September 2025 for the rate of approximately $100 per appointment, but is available to Salon Apprentice models for only a $45 supplies fee. HOW TO SUBMIT FOR FALL MODEL APPOINTMENTS: Please send an email to [email protected] and follow the guidelines below to submit for our fall 2025 models program. Thank you for taking the time to submit. All model appointments are provided by our company founder with over 20 years experience as a Licensed Cosmetologist, and we will do our best to see as many models as possible during the model period. Models will be asked to stay and write a 5 star Google review about their experience. All guests who submit will be added to a raffle in August for a complimentary Starshine Signature Customized Facial valued at $150! The winner will be notified in September. 1. Which services are you interested in for a model appointment? Models may select multiple services, each service has a supplies fee per session. After your submission is received, you will be notified which services you have been accepted for model appointments . Our staff will contact you to provide intake forms and schedule your model sessions. 2. What is your availability for 1.5 - 3 hours (depending on the services booked, if they are booked back to back or over multiple sessions, etc.) If multiple services are selected, please provide multiple dates/times you are available. Models with the most availability will be given priority to book first! 3. What makes you want to participate in the models program? Please note any relevant aesthetic goals, or skin conditions such as hyper-pigmentation, acne scarring, aging concerns, uneven skin tone, acne, etc. that you are focused on treating. 4. From a scale of 1-10 (1 being the least comfortable, and 10 being very comfortable) - how comfortable are you being on camera for Before/After Photos, and video/reel clips to be featured on our social media and/or website? 5. Please note any relevant modeling or on camera experience (this is not required - models with experience who are passionate about actually modeling or acting and being on-camera will be given priority.). 6. Please note, appointments will be scheduled for all model bookings. A 24 hour cancellation policy applies to all appointments booked. Models with frequent requests to re-schedule appointments may be eliminated from the program. 7. Submit a selfie, or head shot. 8. As a Starshine Spa model, please confirm that you will comply with any necessary post care for skincare, brow, or lash lift services provided. Results are best and last the longest when proper post care is provided! Your Esthetician will provide specific post care details for your appointments. We want models to be able to relax, enjoy their treatment, and enjoy their results too. This means being able to "rest," post treatment the day of, not having to rush off to your next activity or appointment as your skin is still healing from the facial for several days after the treatment and brow/lash services are still "setting" for several hours after the appointment. Evening appointments are available and this may make it easier for some to follow the post care. 9. We are located on the SE Corner of San Vicente and Montana Ave where S. Westgate meets Montana. Suite 230 is on the 2nd floor of the Golbar Tax Building. Street parking is available on S. Westgate, Gorham, and the neighboring streets. As anywhere in Los Angeles, please allow time for parking prior to your session. Typically it is easy to find a spot close by.
